Daily Bread - Ponsonby

The bakers at Daily Bread were moving to a new outlet, and asked BioBuild to deliver a rammed earth counter-front. Re-using bricks removed during remodeling, crushed and mixed with milled Muriwai sandstone, the facade wall blends beautifully with the walls of the space. Recycled and natural materials are now a conversation starter between customers and bakers, forging connections between the store and community.

The counter-tops, lime plaster installed by our partners at Limewave, add a splash of rich colour to the space, and provide a durable surface to work from.
